Get your product mentioned by AI assistants

About CiteGraph

CiteGraph tracks whether AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity mention a given product when answering buyer questions. It generates likely buyer questions, runs them through live AI engines, and records each answer, flagging which questions omit the product and which competitors are named instead. The tool can generate source-backed content aimed at improving citation rates, and for sites hosted on GitHub it can publish that content automatically. Pricing is paid, with no free tier, since each scan uses live API calls.

Best for: founders, marketers, SEO teams

Key features

  • Shows the answer a product was missing from, the reason, and a suggested claim to add.
  • Lists every missed answer, the competitor named instead, and a supporting claim.
  • Generates a page addressing a missed question; Autopilot can publish it automatically.
  • Tracks share of voice against chosen competitors on selected questions each scan.
  • Re-scans weekly, with a margin of error reported for each number.
  • Runs 10 buyer-style questions three times each across four AI engines.
  • Runs as an MCP server so tools like Claude, Cursor, or VS Code can read gaps and apply fixes in a repository.

Use cases

  • Check when and how AI assistants cite a website.
  • Find buyer questions an assistant already answers without naming a given product, and get a suggested claim to add to a page.
  • See which questions a product is missing from, the answer given, and the sources cited.
  • Auto-generate and publish a page addressing a missed question, for sites on GitHub.
  • Track competitor share of voice on buyer questions.
  • Receive a weekly digest on AI citation status.

Pros

  • Reports sampled numbers together with their margin of error.

Limitations

  • No ongoing free tier, since each scan uses paid API calls to live engines.
  • Automatic publishing works for sites hosted on GitHub; other platforms require downloading each page.
